Teleportation
Frederike and Fabian, both 10 years old, plan a secret experiment: They want to teleport away their friend Jonathan. But everything goes wrong and instead of the boy all the people of their hometown disappear. Even school is deserted. An adventure story about November the 9th in 1989.
The short was nominated for the Berlin Today Award and produced by Schiwago Film Berlin. In cooperation with the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, the Berlinale Talent Campus and Boxfisch. The Berlin Today Award, has nominated five short film projects as finalists in the upcoming round. 176 young filmmakers from 72 countries responded to the call for project ideas related to the theme “My Wall“, conceived to mark the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall.
